ACLT Chili Cook-off and Auction

The ACLT's 14th annual Chili Cook-Off & Auction took place on Saturday, September 26th. The event raised funds that are used throughout the year to preserve land in the Parkers Creek and Governors Run watersheds and to connect people with the land. Connecting people with the land, and involving them in the ACLT community, is essential to the cultivation of future land protectors who will continue to partner with ACLT to provide stewardship of the land for future generations.

Attendees were able to bid on an array of auction items including fantastic dinners, vacation home rentals, specialty foods, artwork, and antique furniture! New this year was our raffle, mystery bags, children's tent and live auction! Music for dancing and listening pleasure featured a selection of music that put everyone in a festive mood!

More than just a fundraiser, the event is also a celebration of our members, volunteers and supporters. The event is planned and executed with the help of a team of dedicated ACLT volunteers and is always a highlight of ACLT's annual calendar of events. This year's event was a resounding success, both financially and in terms of the outpouring of community members in attendance. Thank You!
